Colour
image processing produces much larger files than monochrome, takes
longer and requires substantially more memory. We therefore suggest
experimenting with both monochrome and colour output before committing
to colour output. In our experience users are generally happy with
well-defined monochrome. Bear in mind that many end users of the images
will be printing to monochrome printers so colour is of no advantage to
them.
