Compact & Efficient

Four simple toolbars within AutoCAD LT give access to all commands and symbols in LT Architect.

Drawing walls

Standard sizes for external cavity, single, stone and internal walls can be defined within a simple dialogue box.

The wall drawing commands automatically pick up the settings entered here. Once the external and internal walls have been drawn, doors and windows can be added.

Doors

Because the simple door dialogue box allows you to easily select the elevation, sizes, style and type of door, it means that when the door is inserted into a wall it looks exactly the way you want it to. The dialogue box below displays the door types and also shows some of the available styles.

Window types and styles for all your designs

Window settings like doors in LT Architect use a simple dialogue to control the elevation, height, width, number of panes, jamb size and position, internal/external sill options and sizes. The flexibility of the parametric windows means that almost any design can be produced. Just look at the choice of styles.

Automatic Wall Breaks

Because the wall capping can be inserted with door and window symbols, walls can be automatically broken around these symbols using the break wall command. Simply select the door or window and LT Architect does the rest.

Stairs that You Define

You have complete control of stairs with LT Architect. In plan you can define the style (straight, ½ or ¼ turn), control the sizes and have options for winders, cut-lines and optional numbering.

You also have access to a wide range of Elevations and Sections, with the option to conform to current building regulations.

Roof plans

Basic roofplans can be created from a simple dialogue box, specify the sizes then select the type - hipped or gable.

Easier Elevations

As most of the symbols in LT Architect are available in elevation as well as plan, they can be used to quickly add detail to your internal or external elevations.

Building Sections in seconds

The parametric wall sections and trusses that are in LT Architect allow you to quickly and easily create building section detail. Pick the type of section, enter the required dimensions, and then just place it on the drawing, it's that easy. The dialogue box below shows just a few examples.

Structural steelwork

LT Architect contains a comprehensive range of structural steel details for construction and fabrication, including assemblies, beams & columns, welds, hole patterns, gussets and base plates.

Timber Stud Panelling

LT Architect gives you parametric Timber stud panels in plan and elevation. You can specify the key sizes and select from the following types: - Door opening, Window opening, Door & Window opening and No-opening.

Standard Architectural Symbols

LT Architect has hundreds of symbols including Plumbing, Heating, Furniture, Electrical and Kitchen, to help you add further detail to your designs. Use the toolbar below to view the different symbol categories.

Many of these symbols are not just blocks that have to be stretched and scaled to the correct size, but are more intelligent parametric symbols. This means that you can define the key dimensions and the symbol is drawn to the size you require.

Low in Cost but High in Features

LT Architect offers a quick and efficient method of producing architectural designs. While LT Architect is a low cost extension to AutoCAD LT it provides productivity gains never before available within this software, and therefore represents a very cost effective design solution for architectural designers.
