Increase your Productivity
We offer a range of products that are suitable for architectural
users along with addon library packs, file translation utilities and
photorealistic rendering options. With many packages allowing
for very user specific customisations you may find that it is easier
than ever to get a system that does what you want in the way you
want.
For 2D only solutions we have

 |
AutoCAD LT
The industry standard 2D solution
by which others are judged. A relatively expensive
solution with high ongoing costs but you get 100% DWG
compatibility when file transfer to other AutoCAD users is
your highest requirement.

IronCAD Draft
IRONCAD
DRAFT 2012 is a powerful 2D design environment for creating,
detailing, and editing production designs. This environment
offers unrivalled compatibility with AutoCAD® DWG/DXF data
allowing users to share and use legacy design data. In
addition, the environment offers a reduced learning curve by
supporting command input and interactions found in AutoCAD®.
It includes a unique symbol creator that lets you define any
component by a series of variable dimensions.
Using this way of working, if you define one door you have
defined every door. Rapidly becoming our best seller,
this application is a fraction of the price of AutoCAD LT
and does not have the large annual support charges
associated with other systems.

FastCAD
This program has been around
longer than almost any other but has hardly changed.
If you like the old style way of working or already have
many thousands of existing FastCAD drawing then this package
is for you. There are UK written routines for
architectural components as well as a wide range of generic
symbols.

Vectorworks
Architect VectorWorks
Architect offers all the tools and technology commercial and
residential designers need in one powerful, cost-effective
program. It is easier to learn and use than most other
architectural specific software applications, yet it is
capable of creating your most complex designs from
pre-design through construction. If you are looking at
getting into BIM (Building Information Modelling) without
paying the silly prices charged for the likes of Revit then
this is the solution for you. Vectorworks runs on both Mac
and Windows computers.

SketchUP Pro
Just
looking for something fun and simple, Google SketchUp is a
program that lets you draw up any 3D object, including homes
and interiors. This community-supported software
has an ever-growing database of images (such as
furniture) that you can incorporate into your sketch.
There's also lots of help, including user guides, highly
active help groups and video tutorials. When you're
finished, you can even add your sketch to Google Earth and
see how it fits into your site. While not as detailed and
sophisticated as most 3D software, SketchUp is one way to
play around without investing a lot of time or money. Google
SketchUp is available for PC or Mac.

IronCAD
Whilst not specifically aimed at
architecture, IronCAD is a world leader when it comes to 3D
modelling and is ideally suited to those users looking to
design and develop architectural components. Once
modelled in 3D the 2D drawings are created and updated
automatically. It includes IronCAD Draft as well so
you do not need to have an expensive 2D system to work
alongside it.
