| How
to care for your paper and film
Temperature and humidity are the most important factors in getting the best from a paper or film. Following these simple guide lines will help to ensure the best results.
| Keep
paper wrapped in its moisture-proof wrapping until it is required for
printing.
| Handle
with care. Try not to touch the surface you are going to print on - you
will leave finger marks which will change the way the paper absorbs ink.
Handle by the edges or use clean cotton gloves.
| Make sure that paper is at its recommended working temperature before using. Paper should be left wrapped and in the press/print room environment for at least a few hours for it to acclimatise to the room's temperature. Large rolls of paper may require days to acclimatise. | |||
